Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actress. She made her debut in her adolescence, playing Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) and for which she received the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. Her subsequent success as an adult gained her stardom as Gloria on the Christian drama series Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) as well as Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) in which the latter resulted in an Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2012 she received an award at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli signed a new deal for a new contract with Food Network in December 2021. The host has hosted various shows on Food Network such as Valerie's home cooking (2015-2023) and The Kids Baking Competitions (2015-present). In 2015, the latter was awarded 2 Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominees. In December 2021 Bertinelli has signed a new contract to Food Network.Bertinelli was the wife of music producer Eddie Van Halen from 1981 until 2007, and with whom she had one son, Wolfgang. Tom Vitale was her husband from 2011 to 2020.
