Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actress. She made her debut in her adolescence, playing Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) and for which she received the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. Her subsequent success as an adult gained her stardom as Gloria on the Christian drama series Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) as well as Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) in which the latter resulted in an Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2012 she received an award at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli signed a new deal for a new contract with Food Network in December 2021. The host has hosted various shows on Food Network such as Valerie's home cooking (2015-2023) and The Kids Baking Competitions (2015-present). In 2015, the latter was awarded 2 Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominees. In December 2021 Bertinelli has signed a new contract to Food Network.Bertinelli was the wife of music producer Eddie Van Halen from 1981 until 2007, and with whom she had one son, Wolfgang.
